Pierce is a Director of Consulting for BlueLine’s Continuous Process Improvement service where he is responsible for consulting sales and business development leading a team of 28 process improvement consultants. His team focuses on operational excellence, process design, P&L management, IT strategy, and service operations. Pierce has a solid track record of high performance helping clients achieve key metrics for reducing cycle time, improving quality, increasing costs savings, and improving service levels.
An accomplished Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Pierce has almost 20 years’ experience in process improvement for operations, finance, supply chain, service, and sales organizations both domestic and international. He has a passion for surpassing financial and service objectives using a combination of world-class delivery, lean six sigma operation methods, and information technology-driven solutions.
Pierce’s experience in diverse industries, leading people and managing P&L’s, matched with a technical background, position him to contribute in a wide array of environments. He believes that the best transformational results are delivered through listening, partnership, collaboration, and the relentless pursuit of delivering value.
Prior to his Director role with BlueLine Associates, Pierce worked for Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Consultant delivering results with current/future state process mapping, demand/capacity analysis, balance sheet/cash flow forecasting, and business planning to support future state alignment to the enterprise operating model. Before Johnson & Johnson, Pierce worked for Arrow Electronics as the Global Operations CPI Leader managing continuous process improvement projects in North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe. Pierce played a key role in the global implementation of Oracle ERP for the Value-Added portfolio including requirements gathering, development support, integration testing, and conversion. Pierce also mentored and monitored Black Belt projects in global markets to ensure timely completion while maintaining quality standards.
Piece has earned a Bachelor of Industrial Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech with a minor in Business. He has been an Adjunct Professor teaching global operations and management for Sierra Nevada College. Pierce is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and also holds a certification for ITIL Foundations in IT Service Management. He is also a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
